RCD 6" Lift Kit

Jake,

Your Av looks nice. Mine has the Rancho 4"(which my understanding is equal to most 6" lifts) I opted for the larger 305/70-16. Mine are Pro Comp Mud Terrains. I also have noticed that I don't believe I need a steering stabilizer. Everything seems to keep inline wihtout vibration or wanting to follow the ruts.


 
That's fantastic to hear that it rides/handles great with the lift! Beautiful truck man!

I'm thinking that about the time my new Mud Terrains wear out in a year or two, I may have enough money put together to get mine lifted.

Until then, I'll drool over your truck :)
 
Jake, do you have pix of the new tire size on the Av yet?
 
Hey Flyinhigh I also heard that about the rancho really being closer to 6" Has anyone else heard that or compared the lift with other lift kits. I went with the Fabtech 6" cause I guess that Fabtech decided not to make the 4" and the guys at the shop said that about the rancho.

No pics yet. Might not be for a couple weeks. My digital camera is on the fritz and I'm heading to Thompson Sound tomorrow. I won't be back for at least a week. I'll post them asap. It didn't change the look of the truck too much. I'd say it looks more like a "baja" machine now and less like a monster truck. I'm going to try continue the baja look with future mods. Although I think I'm done for a while now.
 
Hey flynhigh did you have to do much triming to get your tires to fit? Can you get full tavel out of your suspension? I didn't actually try them, perhaps I should have. Unfortunately I think they still would have stuck out of the wheel wells too far. D**n Canadian laws. I wish they'd stop relaxing the porn & pot laws up here and give us a break on the big tires. :6:
