A few days ago I received an Exclusive Private Offer Certificate worth $1,500 in addition to most rebates but it is only good on Silverados and Sierras.   Good only for me, must prove address, etc.   I don't know why I received it but I would love to have one for an Avalanche.   Anybody have any information or ideas?

I got one of those about a month ago, I think it was the same deal.  Not looking for a new truck so I tossed it.

I would love to get an Avalanche, but need better incentives.   So, I am looking at the idea of a Silverado, just because of the 0% for 60.   I got one of these cert. back in Jan or so.   Who sends these out and how do I find out if I "qualify" for one?  I thought I remembered that the dealer could do a search or something?

I am looking to buy a silverado. I would love to get one of those provate offer discounts. Anyone know how to get one ??  :help:    :B:
Thanks, John

I get them every so often. ?They seem to send them to GM/Chevy owners that have bought within the last couple of years.

Go to a few dealerships, test drive a few AVY's, drop your name and info to the salesmen and you should get one shortly... that's all I did...We've had nothing but Chevy's for 3 generation in my family... (y)

actually... u didn't get one because u test drove a car... u got one because u've "had nothing but Chevy's for 3 generation in my family" ...  dealerships don't send lists of who visited the lot to GM... gm don't care... all they care about are those who've PURCHASED from gm stores before...

if u've dropped off gm's radar (ie not bought a new gm product for more than 5-7 yrs) more than likely you won't get as many advertisements from them.  when folks like trAVelingman buy a new one every year... gm tends to send more half price/no tax/good guy discount coupons to them...

Hey Foxy,
No doubt you know a whole lot more than me but, if that's their thinking, it's shortsightedness in my simpleminded way of thinking, if you come in my bakery and your checking out my cookies, sometimes sprinkling on a little sugar is all I gotta do to get you to take a bite... (y)... sure the guy that's hooked on my cookies is going to get the "bakers dozen" cuz he's a good customer but, I can always count on him coming back, it's those with the "yet developing sweet tooth" I need to pull into the fold... >:D ... the guy down the street just set out fresh jellyrolls...
