Rear bumper skin removal

Hello all new to forum hoping someone can help me out, I purchased new lisdense plate led lights However my 07 LTZ has a skin over rear bumper after going underneath I am not 100% sure on how to remove it without damaging the rear backup sensors. Would appreciate any and all advise. Thank you gnjet

I replaced the license plates lights on my '07 LT Z71 that has the plastic "skin" over the rear bumper, but it didn't require me to remove the skin. There are access holes from the backside of the bumper. They were hard to see and get to, but they are there. This is what my bumper cover looks like - it has the back-up sensors too.

I had bought them as well not realizing there was a cover and when I looked decided to give them away as I thought had to remove bumper cover any chance you could post picks of these holes would greatly appreciate it.
