Hey guys. I searched a while but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. All links were dead.

My final step in my audio mod is to put my speakers in my rear doors. I have a '02 w/cladding. I need step by step instructions for removing the rear door panels so I can install my speakers.

Any other hints for easy installation of speakers are welcome as well.

PS; These instructions are for me so take it slow :cautious:

SPERRY

You ROCK! (y)

As always; the people on this site have come to my rescue again. I should get the speakers in sometime in the next couple of days.

Thanks a lot.

Got my HU put in today (by the pros) Sony blackout CD Player. 2 10" Kicker Comps in a box under the back seat and a 350x2 amp mounted on back. I'll see if I can post pics pretty soon.

Sounds F&$king Awsome!!!! >:D (y).

Also put on my side steps today.

Sperry is definitely the man

Took the doors off; put in the new Rockford Fosgate 6.5's and slapped the doors back on. Not too bad at all and it sounds awsome.

These punch speakers bolt straight in. No drilling or mods needed. Very happy with the install.

Thanks guys.

This is the last time I am designated driver for New Years eve partying!!!  One guy threw up right down my rear drivers side window area on my '03 and now three are alot of small "chunks" ot of my reach.  I tried to take the rear door panel off (yes I removed 2 bolts) but it seemed as though I may need to try more elbow grease.

Does anyone know how to remove the trim pieces directly above the rear window (while the window is retracted)?

OK, I finally got it finished.  The reason the door panel did not come off was because one of the bolts I removed was the wrong one .  With elbow grease, I got the panel off but then noticed I broke off the plastic support of the bolt I did not remove, which was in the door handle area.

After removing the door panel, I got the inside trim piece off very easily and I could wipe down and disinfect one side of the glass.  I could not remove the outer trim piece, but with the inside one removed I could bend the glass back toward me slightly enough that I could get a rag in there and wipe everything else down.

Now it is time for me to get some sleep!

Been there and done that.? A friend of mine did that in my Monte Carlo a couple of years ago.? Nothing like leather interior with corn kernel trim? :D:
Next year, take your cover plates off and make em ride in the bed, its easier to clean :)
