Does anyone know where I might be able to get a replacement for the passenger sider rear seat bottom (not the seat back) including the floor brackets?

GMPARTS DIRECT or the two dealership site sponsors.

Why do you need one?

My need for the seat is kind of unusual. When my wife and I travel we take our two dogs and cat with us. Whenever we stop at rest areas or for the day, my wife has to climb into the back to put the cat into a carrier so she won't bolt when the doors are open. I remove the center console to make it easier, but she still has to climb over the "60" portion of the rear seat folded up against the drivers seat. I've figured out a way to replace the "60" part of the seat bench with the "40" seat bench from the passenger side. This opens up the path for her to access the rear of the truck. I've tried the parts dept at my dealer, but they say they can't get the seat. I'll try the dealer/sponsers from this site. Thanks

When you get it done, how about posting some pictures and details. Sounds cool. :0:
