I have seen talk about a GM Conquest =$500. Does anybody know exactly what this is and who is eligible?

Thinkning about buying an AV and just need to get all my information together. Reading through the forum to see what else I can learn. Thanks for the help

Not totally sure, but I think that's when you currently own a non-GM vehicle.

do a search in this section only as it has been discussed....also check the chevy site for rebates in your area and edmunds etc etc etc etc etc

Then buy one and mod away.....HEHEHE

Yes, Conquest rebate is a $500 rebate when you provide proof (vehicle registration) that you own a non-GM vehicle. I recvd the Conquest in addition to the $4,000 rebate when I purchased at the end of July. Also, I belive I read where you are to have particapted in the GM 24 hr test dirve to be eliglble. This was never bought up by my dealer.

There is a GM loyalty bonus as well: $1,000 if you have proof of a GM product. And $750 for Pontiac, and the of course the $500 Conquest rebate. You only get one of these rebates. I called GM National Customer Service to get the details. They have an option for rebate information. I knew more about rebates than my dealer, so get yourself up to speed.

Best of luck getting your Avy!

To clarify the loyalty rebate - it's $1K going to same brand, Chevy to Chevy. It's $750 for crossing GM lines, such as owning a Chevy and buying a Caddy, etc.

Conquest isn't available through all dealers, afaik. It's also not listed on the GM sites. Ask about it!

I don't understand why the conquest isn't available from all dealers...but I have heard of dealers that won't give it. I'd avoid any dealer that won't give you the rebate you deserve!

The Conquest rebate is actually a dealer-discretionary program where they discount the $500 themselves, with no reimbursement from the factory. Basically a dealer discount, but it came with a program name. That's why not all dealers are participants.

 Wow!

I have been toying with the used car market, carmx and auctions to get the price I want to pay for my AV. I didn't realize that these rebates were so signifigant! I'm calling my Chevy dealer tomorrow to see if I can work out a deal...at worst I'll pay a thousand or two more than what I would pay anyway for a used vehicle with more miles or an auction vehicle with who knows what! :0:

This is such a great board!
