I'm going to try to keep a list of the D/FW recruits, please add any if you leave a brochure! ?:D

10/18: Got the Green Z71 @ work! (Co-Worker, hehe!)
10/20: Got the White Z66 @ work! (Co-Worker also!)

I got a idea, but not sure if it will upset the owner. Get their tag # and go to public data and mail them a brochure. We have a accont at work with public data :cool:
 
The easiest way to do a mass mailing is from one of the local high volume dealerships. ?They have the names and addresses of ALL of the AV owners they sold to or done service for >:D

I need to add the OK Red Z71 we tagged at the RaceTrac in McKinney, when he rolled up asking if there was an AV convention!
 
Ok, I've copied about a hundred thousand million CAFCNA brochures in MANY colors, so we can split'em up at the next meet to have plenty to pass out!

It's not a really a "bad idea". I have mailed 227 brochures and invitations to owners here in Texas to help get our chapter and cruises started.

I will also visit the dealerships in central Texas personally to help promote the Dec 1 Texas cruise. ;D

FINALLY! Tagged the sunset orange Avalache at my gym (24 Hour Fitness on Cooper)! Left a note on the back about the get together on the 14th ;D

If there is a stop light or two around, I position myself right behind or beside the AV and either run up or hand a brochure to them.

This is best done when the lady of the house is not in the AV - it keeps the their thoughts about you being crazy at a lower level :0:

This above pic is how you tag them on the street, it seems to work I have had three AV's pull in behind me on the highway and jot down the www.

David - where did you get the window decal? How much did it cost to have made?

You should be able to get those made up at any sign place that makes truck signs and magnetic signs, they can be made in any color or type style. The Avalanche one I bought off of ebay for $6-8 plus shipping I think under $10. It wasnt that expensive it was like $15 for two plus tax. Its just vinyl lettering they cut out with a computer program. Its not that hard to apply, mine is 1 1/2" high by 35" long ( the www.one anyway)
 
Its is getting pretty sad for me now, I have way too much time on my hands........ I go to the mall to look for AV's not to shop. Guess its cheaper that way. >:D
 
Well been busy today. Tagged 7 total AV's with two of those a possible for the Nov 14th Fuddrucker's GTG.
I think I have Hurst and NRHills covered.

List:
'02 white 2500 4X4
'02 black Z71
'02 white Z71
'03 white Z66
'02 black base (possible for 11/14)
'02 white Z66
'03 Black Z71 (TX manufacturer plates) (possible for 11/14)

Hmmmm think I wil go to Grapevine Mills tomorrow.
 
I finally caught a neighbor at home and gave him a brochure, he said he will check out the site and might make it 11/14 in bedford
