Matt you should have the Mobil One Oil Filler cap by this coming Monday...the invoice with the placard part number is included and folded up inside the box...

can we go back to K falls, I need another vacation.  This happened to Melanie yesterday on the way home from work.  Tough break, but she is fine.  Dude backed out of his driveway and she was sitting at a stop light.  Never saw her and drove over her. :damon:

for sure, thanks, I appreciate that. I will let her know.  Car goes in tomorrow to the best body shop in Washington.  Its the place that all the Mercedes and BMW dealers go to.  They are expensive, but not my dime.  I want it done right.  Tow truck picks it up at 10am tomorrow.  I should know more at nights end.  She has to take the Av and park in a parking garage downtown Seattle tomorrow.  Keep your fingers crossed.  She will do great. :sigh:

Oh dear i am glad she is ok. Mini's are sweet little cars. I wanted a red one but when I got in I became a chicken. Maybe if I were not in the city. Hope it is put back together right. She will do fine in the AV Matt.

Dang Matt! That really sucks! The 1st ding kills ya, but that's a bit much.

So what is this oil filler cap?? Shoot me a pic please.

Those who were interested in my light bar project, it's taking a new avenue. I am now using twin neon tubes (14") and fabricating a Plexiglas  box to accommodate the longer tubes with a fixed 12 volt regulator. My question to you is this; Should the enclosure remain translucent and emmit light on all sides, or should it be painted black and only show in the front like the proto type shown here?

BTW: Mine will be done with twin black light tubes with white glowing on all sides.  (y)

Available lights are Red, Blue, White & Black light.

Looks good to me, I want it in blue.  Can't wait to see it in person.  also can't wait to see it on my bedslide.

I would have to agree on solid colors. However, the Black Light edition may prove otherwise. I just finished soldering the 1st 12volt regulator, The box construction is next.

Looks like I'm going to be busy for a while!

2 Blues and 1 Red.

Well, just completed the smoke test on the AV and all is well, No Smoke!

Very bright too!

Now back to the housing.

Here is an update photo of work in progress.

This is the Blacklight version with clear body.
