Have any of you guys removed the stock resonator?
I'm toying with the idea of doing that.  I've had the cat back kits from Magnaflow on just about every truck ive had the past 7 years, but I think i'm over the droning.  I'm looking to get a little more sound out of the truck, but not at the expense of comfort inside the cabin.  What do you guys think?

I believe 2 or 3 people have done that. Do a quick search and I think you will find it

And  :welcome: and post Pics of your truck  :D

First thing I did. Hated the look of it hanging out the back.
It actually is just a solid pipe thru a hollow pipe. Kinda weird.
Sounds a little throater with it off at idle etc.. No drone at all driving. Not at all annoying like
the flowmaster on my old 03 silverado.

That's exactly what I wanted to hear.  That ugly thing is coming off tommorow morning.  Thanks for the feedback Leo  :D

I did the same thing. No drone what so ever and it does look way better. As far as the sound goes... I hardly noticed a change in sound unless under hard acceleration. Good free mod though.

wait...where is this pipe, i have a jba cat back and could use that groan. look for another post sometime soon from me in this section, i just had to do it! drive safe, andrew
