I have read recent threads concerning the use of Future for restoring the "new look" for cladding..I recently bought a bottle of Future Premium Floor Finish, which states on the bottle, "Long Lasting Shine tough Acrylic Protection"..Is this the Future you fine folks were talking about?  The reason why I'm asking is that after using this, I had streaks and it was almost impossible to wipe out.  Did I get the wrong Future?  BTW, this bottle cost around $6.00..If I did use the wrong thing, what should I of used?

I use to apply Turtle Wax Tire Wax to my plastic, (WBH), the upper plastic.  It works great, gives the plastic a nice shine.  Plus it smells nice and the water beads when it rains.  The downside is when it does rain or there is dew, the stuff runs down the side of the bed and leaves streaks.  I always had go outside and rewash this section.  Did not come off easy nor was it hard.  Also, this stuff normally kept my plastic looking like new for a good two months.

I use Silicone based tire shine for mine, Yes it will leave streaks after hard rains, but it is easy to touch up the streaks with some good detailer. Last a long time too.

Sounds like the right stuff. What I have learned about future is a very light coat seems to do better. Also make sure to use a new sponge. I used a kitchen sponge.  I cut 1/3 of it off and used it to touch up my sail panel the other day. Hope this helps  :B:.

Just be sure its not going to rain within a few hours of application..  Needs to stay int he sun and heat up for a while..

Forgot to say I did use it once..  Now its Turtle wax Ice on the cladding..
