as far as I can remember, there have only been a handful that have had them covered, you might try a different dealershiproadrunner said:Hello, has anyone tried to get their cracked mid gate window replaced after the 3yr factory warrn. has run out? I still have the extended warranty and the service department is telling me it doesnt cover trim parts. Thanks
roadrunner said:I am going to try another dealer, its real bad. I have a snugtop, and always leave the window stored behind the seat. I saw the post about the issue and checked and sure enough 2 @ .5" seperations. The sad part about the dealer that I went to (criswell chevy) is they never got around to look at the window or called GM as they said they would when I 1st when in for service.

When I looked at the rear window, I noticed that the molding had cracked on the lower corners......
I don't think that GM will replace this on a 2002 vehicle
