This weekend I got a response to my application that I submitted to the San Antonio Fiesta Commission for an entry for the AV's to be in the night parade. Here is the response letter I received:
Dear Madam:
The Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association Board has met to review applications from those applying for participation in the parade. All decisions are final and the board will not meet again for further review of applications.
Due to the tremendous response from those applying to enter the parade, we are unable to accommodate all applications. The parade has been ending later each year. This has created tremendous issues of security and overtime costs. Therefore, once again, we have been instructed by the Fiesta Commission and the City of San Antonio to reduce the number of entries so that the parade ends at a more convenient time.
We regret that we were unable to include you this year, but hope that you will submit an application next year. We will determine if next year we will be able to include more entries.

This is a bummer! They don't know what they are missing excluding the AV's from the parade!
