Retractable step bars

I'm sure most of you have seen the retractable step bars/steps on the Lincoln Navigator. With that said, has anyone ever tried to do the same on the Av??
I've never been underneith a Navigator so I have zero clue as to how that part of it works, just curious to see if there's been any time devoted to checking in to it and if so, what were the results?
 
There is a company (forgot who) that makes them as an aftermarket part for any truck. Not cheap though, although are any mods like that cheap!?!

Do a google search, you will find them.

Thanks! Checked it out and I think I found what I'm looking for. A bit on the expensive side for step bars, may have to scratch that idea :(
 
There is a company that makes a fulll retractable step bar

They were at sema both this year and last year

I think their company name is AMP - or AMP research

At the show, they had a 2002 escalade ext with retractables and they said that they would be available for our trucks soon

They were awesome but like people have said, not cheap

The same company that makes the fuel doors makes a retractible step.
I haven't ever seen one installed on an Av. Nor do i have an idea of what they cost.

I just gave them a quick call - and I ordered a set

he said around 900 bucks - wow -

and that they will be available mid july

I cannot wait - they are awesome

Checked these out and this is dead on what I want! $900 or $1,900, I don't care, I'm getting a set and that's all there is to it!
