Hey all,
I recently came back from seeing my girl in New Hampshire, overall, a roughly 1500 mile round trip. I have a goal of seeing all 50 states, and before I move to Maine at the end of next month, I was trying to see the west. Cheyenne Wyoming, to be exact. I’m looking to cross as many states off the list as possible, going to Cheyenne, cutting down to Fort Collins, detouring to Hiawatha, over to Louisville(Kentucky) then Morgantown, and up to New Hampshire, where I’ll rest for a bit before making it up to the outskirts of Portland. I was wondering, with roughly 109k on the clock, and a clean bill of health with my mechanics word on it, should I be good to go? I also got new tires before the trip. Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated!

A few years back we did a 5,000 mile camping trip from Cincinnati, to the Badlands, to Glacier, up into Canada and back down through the Dakotas and Minnesota. We started out with either 140K or 145k on the clock. !09k on the clock - That's how much ours had when we bought it. In other words, get the clean bill of health and put the pedal down. :drive:

Bring along a set of basic tools. At 85K km (~50K miles), I had a front wheel bearing go out on me. Because, GM 🙄 I changed it easily enough, but there are some oddball fittings on these trucks. Or, be prepared for local mechanic bills...

I‘d first do a quality oil-and-filter change, a coolant flush/change and a brake fluid change. And ensure that your A/C is working flawlessly. Your ATF is nice and pink?
