Has anyone put a roof basket on the stock bars on the roof does it work or look good? If you have can you please post pics

You'll probably need cross-bars, but the stock rails work fine.  And looks great  (y)  I had a basket on mine for road trips, wish I had a pic but probably long gone by now.

Ok where can I find cross bars that would fit the stock racks?

Google...wish I could help but I found mine buried in the garage somewhere when my dad wasn't using them.  Maybe someone else will chime in...

You can see my rack in my sig pic, but I'll post some bigger ones later on.

Henryj, what awning is that?  I've been looking or one or camping and tailgating but everything seems so expensive.  My buddy at work thinks he wants to get rid of the one on his Pop up but I'm unsure how I would mount it to the rack.

Also here is one from behind with the cargo net on, kinda hard to see, but the yellow is the hooks for the netting.

The awning is a Campinglab awning. Very simple. I like it lots. Here is a pic of it from my last truck:

Seems to be gone now. I have not heard from or seen Fernando around in a couple years. I would say that the 78" ARB awning is about as close to what I have as I can find right now: Carid.com- ARB? ARB4402A - 78" Awning $205.30

If I needed another one that would be top of my list. If you don't mind some assembly...I just picked up an Eazy Awning $120 for my Dad's Westy:

I have not seen it deployed yet. He likes it :)

Thanks, that's a really good price on that ARB, I don't think I've seen them that low anywhere else.
No real experience with that retailer. I did order from them once for and item listed as "in stock" , I received a cancellation of the order in a day or so when the item was not available. I suspect that they are one of those Cloud stores and drop ship everything. No "real" inventory.

Thanks everyone for he help! So you obviously have roof baskets also are they mounted on the stock bars we were talking ago the slide parts are stock but new bars what did you guys do? And if you do have different bars what are they and do there fit in the stock sliders?

U-bolted to the stock bows up top :) When I move the basket down to the back for the winter the basket rides on Thule mounts and bars :)

Ok AWSOME looks great! mine seem too have a decent bow in them when you put on the U bolt was it enough to take it out of it? and its pleanty strong enough?

Mine is the same, came with U-bolts for round or square bars. I've probably had ~100 lbs in mine without any issues.  This is the first winter with it, but I think I"ll just be straight up removing it rather then trying to brush snow around it.  I'm thinking I'm probably going to remove the bars on the bed as well.

I removed the center bars and the rack mounts to the side bars. It's a pretty strong system, with 300lbs up on the roof, nothing has ever moved.
