Has anyone installed amber running board lights? I sold one of my Swing 'N Load cargo boxes to a local guy and he has them. I think they look good, he just had 3 on each factory board and they were 2 wire LED's. I think I might have him install a set for me.

I'd like to see them too.

shouldn't be too hard to do. There's a nice (apprx 1") rolled lip on the edge of the stock step. Could easily tie into the tail lights.

What about for the factory "tube steps" on the WBH version? Anyone considered some type of additional "puddle lights" to go inside the hollow ends of the tubes? Seems reasonable, especially since the ends of the tubes are turned down towards the ground.

Could this be tied in with the reverse lamps?

Of course, I'm not even past the 500 mile break in period, so I'll have to pace myself for all these interesting mods. ;)

Here's my version, using running lights available from NAPA stores. All connections soldered, power taken from back side of trailer plug.

This looks like the way this guy did his. He only had 4 per side......left off the first and last ones.

Now if you could get them to blink where they looked like they were moving (like a bilboard), I'm sure that you'd get some interest from some of the Neoners and Strobers.

Looks good though.
