Just finished rotating tires on the Av and noticed the steel pipe that connects to the caliper is extreemy rusty and pitted badly. I took Av in to dealer. He ordered new ones and will call when they arrive. He was very surprized they are that bad. He said he will even paint the new ones shiney black if I would like. Cool

That is very bad.........but your shock, bracket and frame are also rusty. Did you get in a lot of salt this winter? Maybe you need to find a good carwash that does under body washes and run it through there a few times each winter. I hope there is not a problem with the steel they are using for some of their parts!

My Av is going in on wednesday for the new brake pipes. Service manager could believe how bad they are. I will also get a new trans drain plug as the original was so frekin tight that I needed my 18 inch breaker bar and a 6 point socket to loosen it :8: :8: and took off the corners. I also sucked the brake reservoir dry of fluid and refilled with new.
