Mmmm, taters.

You might want to do a google image search, idaho is an incredibly beautiful state with mountains, rivers and dense forests. i think more of outdoor recreation like skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and four wheeling when i think of odaho.

Sorry Shane, not meaning to butt in but kid was born in idaho, sister went to college there and have a ton of friends there.

Its pretty much going to be Shanes sticker, doesn't look like anybody else is interested in it, so I will do it anyway he wants it.

I went to highschool in Colorado.  Idaho & Colorado look pretty similar (all the mountain West states look about the same).

Very true, they are all similar-sorry to butt in, had no idea if you knew what idaho looked like. kind of like you wondering about how i saw grizzlies in florida, none of us really knows that much about where the other members have been, we just see a current location.

I drove up to Montana (to see Custer's last stand at the Little Big Horn) form Colorado Springs one time on a "field trip" with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment.  Talk about miles and miles of the Front Range.  It got old quick.

I know what you mean, that trip is better made at night, Little Big Horn really disappointed me-not sure what i expected but "nothing" wasn't it, although you've never known true boredom until you've driven to KC from Denver.

Mountains and river.  I don't know.  I kinda like the potatoes myself. >:D

I like that one hehehe

Put tator tots on it....hehehe

I vote for the river and mountains too. Although the first one isn't to bad.

I'd take at least one.

Idaho's motto is actually "The Gem State".
"Famous Potatos" is just on the plates for the reason that, well, its what it is famous for! <<<<<Eigth grade Idaho history lesson, Irving Jr. High, Pocatello, Idaho.
Every Kid in Idaho has to learn this stuff!

Idaho being called "Famouse Potatoes" goes along with Utah being the "Mormon State"
You're right Shane,
And most Utahns are slightly offended by that as much as real Idahoans (except the farmers) are slightly offended by the whole "spud" thing.
It becomes somewhat like a bad racial joke that is OK to repeat if you are actually of that race. But, should someone outside of the group say it, LOOK OUT!
