??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

P.S. ?We missed you at WW2002( or should I say BigRed_Z71) missed ya ?;)

This was the other day......3rd time ?.....

They put in a new battery today for the 3rd time.....and said it was fixed...we shall see

three new batteries???? ?wonder if they checked the alternator at all? ? Im heading out to bring my Av back to the dealer ?for the paint chipping off the hood ?after me only ahving it for 11 days ? ?after your story with your jersey dealer Im hesitant to bring mine back to the dealer in NJ that I bought it from. ?

Well good luck with your new battery

That is a very very sad thing to see :-[ :-X  :6: :C:.. Good luck with everything. There obviously is something wrong. That reminds me of our Bonneville which has had problems starting. OH yea, I'm glad to see you back :).

I'm sure that is a sight you won't see very often, wish you the best though..and good luck! :B:

Just a thought . . . . Did you check to make sure the bed lights are off? Leaving these on would easily drain the battery overnight.

they are on a timer of sorts that shuts them off so you don't drain the battery i think it is 10 minutes

Funny the last time I attempted to get out of the Av with the lights still on...this annoying beep noise sounding like it was hooked up to a subwoofer blurted out....needless to say I always checked just in case...don't want to lose my hearing... :B:

I'll bet the mechanics at your local service centre just love that feature. >:D

I think the tow truck should get a medal of honor just for being able to get the Av up on the flat bed and back to the dealer!

But seriously, hope the Av gets a correct diagnosis and treatment for its ailing.

No news yet AvyChick . . . as I'd said before . . it shouldn't be that hard to fix the problem that you described . . . .

Methinks you need a new service department . . . not a new Av!

Looking at your pictures of your Avy up on a tow-truck bed, makes me think I know why a new feature on the 2003s is the automatic light shut off after a certain number of minutes.

I am notorious for leaving lights on and running my battery down.

I am not saying that is what you did, it just what a lot of people must do and that is why GM came up with yet another great feature on the Avalanche.

2002s will shut off after 20 minutes.
