Sail Panel Plexi-glass Window

. I have thought oif a littlehey big old got change might change to your style I like the flush look but then again like the recognazible av sail cut out with the plexi behind the splitline of the cladding... I think your flush rig has some aero qualities. I know mine do too. I cant figure out how you do the inside do you sandwitch two plexi panels to each other -----cool put a light inbetween and GLOW SIDE T%O SIDE THRU THE SAIL.... damn goo needs more ---goooglowwww I have trialed a sail panel lcd. a light midship on the av I went red led flush mount... turn signal

RED ...

What does the inside attach to?

Can I see a photo of the inside view?

Do they come in purple tint? >:D

you can put me down as an interested party too Red - I would go for the smoked panel kit, although the light inside idea is intriguing (I must be related to Goo somehow  )

i'll try to get photos soon, but yes the first pair are just sandwitched in there... the pair i'm making right now has a plug effect. but it may be a little longer now till i can get them done with pricing... i have to leave town to texas for about 4 days starting tomorrow i get back on the 9th though.

Any concern with air flow with back window and midgate down? GM I understand did some wind tunnel tests with design to minimize road noise.

Have you got a pic from the inside? The bolts you are using must stick out a ways into the box. And you must have painted the heads. Have you looked for a dark finish bolt, perhaps a sexbolt type that would look better from the inside?

Mrs Bubba called snug top and they don't sell them seperately...asked them what they would do if someone broke one...they answered just send replacements for free...they did put my name on a list of about 30 people that has inquired about them if they ever do decide to sell them...have 2 choices 1) someone with a snugtop say you broke yours and send the freebie replacements to me >:D or 2) everyone on this thread contact snugtop and sheer numbers of people may convienve the to sell these :B:

I am definitely in for a set when you start making them, THey are one of the coolest mods yet.......

WV Bubba,
I called Snugtop today. They said somebody from WV has been driving them crazy over the windows. They said they were still not available as a seperate item.

Does any body know what happened to Big Red. I want sail panel windows.
I may have to find time to make them myself.

Big Red....r u out there? ??? If you don't have time to make them, can you get more specific? Did you use 1/8" or 1/4" plexiglass or lexan. How long did the bolts come out to? Did you have to sand the bottom corners where the sail tapers down to nothing? Any templates available? Questions probably seem trivial, but I'm sure like you time is a coveted asset, and you can possibly save us some mod time. :)Thanks in advance.
