Was just wondering for my 06 avy 1500 non cladded non 4x4, are the springs that go on the front the same as the back?I know from factory the rear ends sit a little higher so I'm assuming the springs in the rear are a little taller.so am I right in thinking if I replace the rear springs with the same size as the front it should level out?

No. Rear has coil springs while front has torsion bars. You can level the truck in the manner you suggest to lower the rear or by replacing or cranking your torsion keys to raise the front.

Thank you for the reply, now my next question is i did some research to see what size springs to get for the rear to make it level with the stock front and i got a few different answers some say 2in some say 4in.how much of a drop spring is needed to lower the rear to be equal with the front?

I used 2 inch springs in the back to level mine. Came with a spacer that I had to use, otherwise the rear would have been lower than the front.
