Goo just stopped by for lunch! Great to meet Pete and Kim. Had a good time looking at and talking trucks. Real nice folks and a real nice ride. Appreciate em stoppin in.

 
Is there any interest in a real SA/San Marcos/Austin meet? I've seen a number of Avs up here (but normally on the road - makes it difficult to get them a brochure :) ), but I have no idea how many are in the club.

Here's the photo from the Rally at The Lakehouse in Kerrville, Texas yesterday. ?Great food and overlooking the Guadalupe river too.

Not at all - the more the merrier. So, how does a weekend in June work for people? And does anyone who is more familiar with New Braundels or San Marcos than myself have a suggestion for a location?

Does the River Road Camp have provisions for a group to meet during the day/evening? Or how does meeting at one of the BBQ joints sound? I'd like to shoot for June 15 - how does that work for people?

Are you talking about a BBQ restaurant? ?I think either the Landa Park BBQ or my friend suggested the Gristmill restaurant if we decide to go that route.

I sent an PM to kps to see when they are planning to come to NB so we can coordinate.

I just met with one of our quiet local members "Lisa" at the local car wash. ?She is game for NB. ?So let's plan for June 15th. ?I am going to do a scouting trip this weekend to check out possible meet locations. ?

Of course, members from all areas are invited ?:cool:

Ok ... so far the plans for the June 15th San Antonio / New Braunfels cruise is to meet up with the other Texas members (kps, Sten) for lunch at Noon at the Gristmill River Restaurant in New Braunfels. ?The San Antonio group will meet up on I-35 by Gunn Chevrolet at 10:30a.m and drive up. ?We still need to decide what to do after lunch. ?I know Kerry (kps) is doing the Schlitterbahn thing ?;D ?Ideas? ?

Let the race for the decals begin. It looks like we will be driving down on Friday, do the Schlitterbaun stuff then - do we really want to see all the club members in swimsuits?

If I didn't have the decals already, I'd meet you guys in SA! As it is, lunch on Saturday at the Grist Mill.

Meet Date and Time: June 15, 2002, 12 noon

Meet Location: New Braunfels, Texas

Meet Activities:

San Antonio members will meet at the Gunn Chevrolet located at 12602 N Ih 35, San Antonio,TX 78233 before Loop 1604 at 10:30 a.m. and cruise up together to the Gristmill restaurant.

We will meet up with the out-of-town members at the Gristmill restaurant at Noon.

Lunch will be the at the the Gristmill River Restaurant which is located at 1287 Gruene Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130, In the Gruene Historical District overlooking the Guadalupe River. See the website for map and directions. Their phone number is (830) 625-0684.

We will be enjoying area activities after lunch.

As of this morning, I have 9 signed up for this meet. Let's get some more ...
