I think people are arriving at different times, me and Ed (and anyone we might pick up along the way) should roll into Savannah sometime thursday afternoon ;D

My original plans were to get into Savannah around noon or 1pm. That would mean we have to be leaving from the I-95 / I-26 interchange around 10:30am. You would probably have to leave around 5 or 6 am :eek: :eek: If that is too early, let me know. You don't have to come to Columbia. I can meet you on the interstate anywhere from I-95 toward Savannah.

Hey guys

Wiki is still on vacation so I'm sure our Thursday night pre GTG Partywill be a BLAST for all you early arriving AVers to River Street or elsewhere to be determined by Wiki in less than 48 hours.

River Street is hosting a "USO WELCOME HOME FESTIVAL" Thursday.

Gates open at 3pm.
Show begins at 5:30pm.
Fireworks at 9:15pm.
Closing Ceremony at 10pm.
Bars close at.....well not Thursday.

Entertainment by...Vew Vision & Diamond Rio.

Just information folks/just information if your still interested in River Street. ( USO WELCOME HOME FESTIVAL poster Does Not indicate a cost. )

i have a few things to get done tonight...but i'm thinking about thursday night...the only variables standing in my way are where i would stay...might have to use my convertable av for sleeping....how late i will have to work thursday night...and depending on that what time I could get to Sav by...of course if i do go i'll have to shower and get ready at work...can't roll into Sav with a days work worth of funk...hope to cya thursday night...but if not friday is a definate...I'll have to give Wiki a shout tomorrow evening and find out what's up when I'm done with work...I had to work until 1130 monday night b/c an improtu trip to Sav to drop a pt at st joe's hospital...so i did visit sav already this week...just hopefully won't have to visit Sav in an ambulance tomorrow..

Well I think a day of sick leave is in order for Thursday so I can head on down for the River Street party. I think the air mattress is the way to go ;D

I just could not stand it. I got into Savannah today and am at the Ocean Plaza. Already made a trip to the Crab Shack and looking forward to any early arrival tomorrow.

Our Thursday crew are probably all on the road.....I will be on the road as soon as I can find some transportation for my wife. Her car is in the shop. Time to visit the rental car people...... :E:
 
I'm on my way now, stopping at the dealer on the way out to discuss maybe gettting a new AV :) (y)
