seek better mpg--mod exhaust?

My '02 2wd 1500 AV has 40k+ and it is relegated to some city and highway driving (in other words-no off road).

I have gotten as low as 13 mpg and as high as 18 mpg using 87 octane.

I am considering some mods since this is my everyday driver and I need better gas mileage.

I am pretty well satisified with stock performance and sound. What's the best exhaust mod to keep performance and sound the same or better and improve mpg?

HArd to say.....I think driving style will give you the best MPG gain...versus a mod.......

MODS tend to make more Hp which tends to make ya drive harder which tends to waste fuel......

TRUE DAT!!!

If you go with maybe a 70 series Flowmaster or alike in a different brand, you might get a few more miles out of tank full without the Rumble and temtation of a sport exhaust
