Chevrolet sold 7,639 Avalanche's in the month of September, the first month they were available nationally (from May to August they were only available in Florida, Texas and California). This is roughly 56% of the number of Suburban's moved in the same month. GM is happy with the number and sales have accelerated month over month - the General is well on it's way to selling 100K in the first year...
