I brought my AV in for some problems. I was a little worried that a huge dealer would brush me off. Well so far so good. I had the megga bright high beam indicator light problem. They dialed it down as far as they could. It's a lot better, but still brighter than I would like.

The heat shields popped a lot when stopped, there was a band clamps around the shield/muffler solution. Those parts are on order.

The #3 panel over the bed was warped down about 1/4", they pulled one off another vehicle and put in on. Mine was probable a swap out before I got it, ya think!!

So far no complaints at the service dept.

:C:I on the other hand have had a small but real nightmare! :D:
My running board was damaged somehow & when I picked up the Avee on July 21st I pointed this out immediately. The dealer told me to wait for their call & I could bring it in for a replacement. Well today is September 16th & I :8: refused 4 pair because they keep getting light charcoal when mine are dark. Finally after a really pissed Service Manager (they said hey what's wrong with the lighter shade!) :8: :8: A $40k truck with mismatched running boards? :-X :E: Well they finally agreed to swap off the lot on Thursday the 18th.

In the mean time I am also having a steering 'box' kit replaced as I have poured in over a quart of power steering fluid waiting for the part.

>:D After this cools a bit I'll complain about my 1/4" drooping #3 panel!!! :9:

But hey - at least my Fleetwood Pioneer RV Travel Trailer has got a warranty the can cover my fried Power Converter & broken awning. :9: :9: :9:

 Is it my opinion that everything bought lately is breaking & that even though warranties cover this stuff they don't cover time off, stress & frustration?!?!!? :6:

Oh well boys with big toys have big boy toy problems I guess.

You don't get what you pay for ~ you pay for what you get. :B:

Face it - things like cars and RV's just cost an s-load of money. Purchase, financing, insurance, maintenance, repairs. They have you coming and going.

We have owned top-of-the-line popup campers for years. When I try to put down on paper how I can financially justify buying the camper versus staying in hotels, etc., forget about it! I would have to own the camper for 25 years and camp 25 nights to make up for the initial cost and maintenance over the life of the camper.
