my service engine soon light comes on about once a week..and comes and goes..i brought it to the dealer, and they said it was a mis-fire, and that when i brought it in for service that they would fix it...but now the light still comes on about once a week..somebody told me that it might just be a bad sensor....is there anything i could do about this? or to just stop the service engine soon light coming on..cause i always bring to the dealer for them to turn it off...is there anyway i could do it..

Keep complaining to the dealer! While intermittant problems are hard to find, at least the dealer needs to have a record of this complaint. Eventually something will fail and stay broke - then they'll be able to fix it!

While you've got lots of warrenty still left, one thing you want to avoid is having an intermittant problem close to the time warrenty expires. Unless you take the initiative to have the dealer aware of such a problem, it could get expensive later!

Good luck . . It is hard to fix something that won't stay broke!

The dealer should be able to plug into your AV when the light is on and get the error code that is causing the problem. Push it with the and make them fix your AV.

The light is a pain - once you start to mod and it goes off, you don't know if the AV has a real problem or one you caused :)

The dealer should be able to decipher the code triggering the light and fix it....Keep after them

It took me three trips and over 2 weeks to get mine fixed. Got new o2 sensors and a new computer. Turned out to be the wiring going to the o2 sensors was grounding out. Maybe this is why yours is intermittent.
