I love my Avalanche, but I did have several problems recently, they were all covered under the warrantee. The frame on the removable rear window cracked in two places (in the center of the top and bottom) and it leaked water when I took it to the car wash. I had to have the right tailgate latch replaced because the tailgate wouldn't shut and stay shut properly. This was not the tailgate problem under the recall, that one is totally different. Then my orange lights on the front, I think they are the turning indicator lights, but also light up any time the vehicle is running, they melted the orange plastic that is over them. That had to be fixed as well. I know the guy at the dealership said that this is the fifth back window he had seen that cracked and had to be replaced, but he also went on to say that he hadn't seen the orange lights melted like that before and it must be a freak thing. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any of these problems. I am also looking for feedback from people who have the camper, and if they like it or not. We are considering getting one. Oh, and the year I got my truck they had to replace my radio, it kept locking up for no reason, I went on the Avalanche Owners website and there was something about certain radio's being defective and I printed it and took it to the dealership and got a new radio under warrantee as well.
Anyway... any input greatly appreciated.
