Well I have talked to Officer Mike and here are some dates he would like for the AV club to attend.
This is all for a charitable cause:
March 6th for the Lockhart Jr. High Car Show. Entry fee is $15 per vehicle; and
March 13th for police escort from Austin to Lockhart. Entry fee is $15 per vehicle and driver plus $5 for every extra person.

Both will have prizes and remember this is for charity.

What I would like to know if there is any interest to join both or one and who and which to attend? Please give me your input. :B:

Yep lets do both! after all its for the kids! Let me know what responses you get. I sent a mass email to the ACA members! I haven't gotten any responses yet...I will keep you posted.

I am a new member and noticed that there are some fellow Austinites out there! I would love to hook up with you guys and gals at some point. Is there a sign up to be kept up to speed on potential gatherings?

I actually live in Kyle now which as you know is just a short jump away!

Look forward to meeting my fellow AV er's.

Okay AVers this event will happen tomorrow RAIN OR SHINE

Lets get out there and support the children's charities!!! Its all for a good cause. It will be awesome to see 5 or more AVs in this cruise....


Looking foward to seeing everyone tomorrow for the cruise and for BBQ lunch in Lockhart.
