So, after installing a 3inch body lift i finally had clearence to do the exhaust set i have wanted since i got my truck... True Side exhuast in front of the rear wheels! It is a strait through Magnaflow and thats it, no other stuff... It sounds awesome, Deep and Racey with lots of Turbo Whine!

The tips sit just back enough when the door opens that you wont hit your leg on them, it exits on the Passenger side for that Race truck look and sound...

I wanna do this mod as well.  My duals out the rear are killin my tailgate with carbon.

Anyone have that exhaust that cuts into the side of the  body with an oval trim ring and 2 pipe on each size??

Cant find a pic... :E:

Looks good, i like the way it's run between body and frame, not as easy to tear off 4 wheeling.

I think ICHANGE was the one who did it. I actually had planned to do it but the cost for the tips was too much for me at the time...heres a link to where you buy them. I did a very extensive search and did not find and other manufacturer out there. It is still something I may do later..

I knew you could find it.  Yep, thinking about that route, but not sure if I'll still have carbon issues up the sides.

Thanks for the link!

looks nice, Dave.  I've been wanting something close to this for a while.  A lift isn't an option at this time in order to get it done.  Oh, well, congratz on figuring it out.  maybe you can help me figure out a way to do side pipes.  I saw a Tahoe with them, but it was sitting on the ground and I couldn't find the owner to get it lifted.

Don't mean to take the wind out of anyone,s sail, but is this mod street leagal?, I know in CT at one time this exhaust had to exit behind the rearmost tires on passenger type vehicles.

I think this is what T.C. is looking for...

and it was GOT CHANGE who was the first to do it...if I recall...

Um Dave,

Break out your camera and post up a street level side shot those badboys please...

Oh, and one from the side and under that shows the FULL route of the exit pipes from the last bend to the tips...

Thanks

OK hope i get the right people here for my replies...

teamdc06, I do not remember the model number of the Magnaflow, i just remember that it is Stainless and is strait through, no baffels inside it at all...

tgater, if you have vehicle inspections in your area you may have a problem dpending on state/country rules... BUT I know that Gibson makes a bolt on Side exhaust like this for the 2000+ Silverados that if i remember correct is 50 stat legal...

I CHNGE, i its dark out but i will try to rememer tomorrow to get another under side shot... THe routing is super easy with the Body lift...
