Silly question about buttons...

We just brought our new baby home today! 2004 midnight blue and I just gotta know what those three buttons are on the upper console? We have a sunroof and I know it's not for that...the previous owner couldn't figure it out and I gather I have to sit down with the manual over a few glasses of wine this weekend, but could they be for programming something like an overhead garage door? I'm a bit stymied what they are for??

Those are your Homelink buttons. You can program them to act like your garage door opener or other remotes.
