Direct from the manufacturer,

We have experienced a problem with a manufacturing run on the 893 ST; we are remanufacturing when we get that completed will be happy to replace your lamps. I've forwarded your inquiry to personnel in charge of our replacements, when product is available, we will send you a replacement set of lamps, this should be about 3 weeks. We are sorry for any and all of the issues this may have caused you.

Call in or send them an email. You will obviously need to show proof of purchase but you will get a free replacement set.

I have gotten numerous replacment sets... for the money they should last longer period defect or not. A week is not a defect it is poor manufacturing. The shipping sucks in plain english. They just put the bulb packages into a FedEx box and mail them.. no packing what so ever.

This is not a rant this is a warning.

I must say my experience with getting the replacement 893ST bulbs was quite different. I called there head office and they shipped out the same day. The set of bulbs was packaged correctly and well protected.
I give Sylanvia a thumbs up for CUSTOMER SERVICE. They treated me very pleasantly on the phone and dealt with the matter in a very professional manner....
Perhaps their service department is nicer in Canada Eh!

That being said, I too hope these last longer than 3 weeks of use!
 
there customer service was great 6 sets of bulbs replace free of charge. But everything else sucked :8: :7:
 
That's interesting, I called and they want the old bulbs shipped to them for inspection (at my cost), prior to approving a replacment. I have asked for a return shipping credit, they said they will see.
They also said that they will only cover if you installed them in the vehicle that matches their spec book. Eg. - If you have an AVY you should be using the lo-watt bulbs (Sorry I forget rhe model #s), not the 893 ST at 37. W or the higher 50/55 W)!!!!!!!!!! :7:
 
I guess its better to be in Canada Eh!

Sylanvia customer service office was great!

New bulbs installed but will see how long they last!

 
I sent mine in the other day for replacement, as per the email I received from Sylvania. I will not put these in my AV ever again. They are just crap! :7:
