I need to get them to bundle both rides for a reasonable rate.  We're going to need it it for our trip out west in June or we'll be listening to static for long periods of time.

I just did that. was paying $189 for the all access, (subscription for the Reciever, App and On-line streaming). For both mine and my wife's Acadia, $378/yr total now that the promo rate ran out for hers. I called and said I wanted to cancel my service in the AV, and start new service for the receiver I got got the Subaru. They asked why I wanted to cancel one receiver, and I told her I won't be driving it as much and I have the all access plan, so I can just stream it from my phone when I'm in that vehicle.
She offered me $19/yr for 2 years to keep that receiver active, I said no thanks, I can use my phone for free. She then said she could activate my new receiver for the promo rate (supposed to be for new customers only) of $55 for the first year and $99 for the second year, then full price after if I elected to keep my AV's receiver on at the $19 rate for the next two years. So I went from $378 for two receivers to having 3 receivers @ $263 for this year and $307 next year instead of full price of $567 for all 3. After 2 years, I'll be certain to call again.

I'm keeping my $20 deal, if they try to change it I'll just leave it off till they offer me another $20 deal. actually it 18.21

I had the same mentality back in 2004 when I first got it, but once I got a smart phone, and then started streaming it I became addicted. It's a tough expense to justify if you just use it in the AV, but I use it on days I'm in the office on my desktop there, on my desktop at home, in the garage at home, and even in friends vehicles Via cable or Bluetooth w/ the Iphone App. Regardless of the price, I doubt I'd ever cancel completely, but I will keep calling in every so often to get a better rate until they call my bluff on cancelling.

I've subscribed since 2002, I think I was one of the first 100,000 subscribers. It's pretty much all I listen to other than my iPod.
