After finishing my DOD delete, I noticed lifter noise briefly on startup yesterday.
This morning I paid attention and same thing, with oil gage slow to build pressure (about 3 seconds)
After it gets pressure everything is fine for the entire drive
When I got to work I shut down and started up a few times and its the same every time, just no lifter noise since everything is wet
I'm afraid I may have boogered the o-ring seal on the oil pick-up when prying on the pump to change the timing chain guide.
That sound about right?
The pump actually came off the drive splines and everything was in a pretty good bind during the process,
But clearly I didn't think at the time I had put too much stress on anything...
I looked at the pickup where it bolts to the pump and saw no sign of trouble, this was after prying on things and putting it back together
