Anyone here knows somebody that can help with smog. My other car won't pass cause it has long tube headers. The I used before doesn't do it anymore. I'm near SGV, and  IE.

If you don't have one yet - get an OBDll scanner. You'll be able to see if there's any issues and they're starting out at about 25$ You can also go to
Autozone and use one of theirs if you can't afford it. Heck, I'm in Anaheim so let me know and we'll meet and check it out.

diablo078.. Why won't it pass smog, do you know? Did you take it to a shop and they wouldn't pass it??

We need more info...

Original poster hasn't logged on since Nov.4th, 2018 I doubt you will get a reply from him....

he says in posts because it has long tube headers which means what did he do with original o2 sensors and cat?

Yeah, old post.. But just because it has headers long or short tube doesn't mean it will fail unless there are other modifications down stream that cause it to fail.. I lived in California and they are very strict but it can be done, you just can't half ass it and throw a set of cheap headers on it and hope to pass. They have to be CARB compliant. Too many of these guys think that cats cause a big loss in horse power which was true when were first required, but now even the factory cats are pretty good. Just look at the Corvettes, Mustangs and Hellcats making over 600HP, 700HP and 800HP through the factory cats..
