So I didn't mention anything before but it is now 3 months I quit cigarettes. I bought the Avalanche early April after my 89 z71 pick-up died. The Av needed some new shocks and wheel alignment and tires. My wife says "you better quit smokin' if you want parts!" Done! And got my Ranchos, alignment and a used set of winters on wheels, plus a little fishing boat and trolling motor. If I don't stop buyin stuff, she's gonna tell me to start smokin again lol.
But seriously, after 35 years of smoking and failed attempts to quit, the Avalanche is what did it for me. Its been such a fun truck even tho it will always need a repair of some kind and now I have my own truck that never been smoked in. I'm used to old trucks so it has been a challenge to work on but thank goodness for Youtube lol and this Fan club. 🤟

Congratulations on the huge accomplishment. Stay strong and keep maintaining your AV!
I tried many times but always end up lighting up again. Glad I have the discipline not to ever smoke in my home or vehicle.
