Sounds like a eBay part to me.. I think mine are GTO.. They clip at the bottom but you cant take the top ones off unless you lift the hood or break them.

Notthe best pics but here are some of them. I like them because they dont just velcro on and off. They leave the piece of velcro on the light when the cover is off, and it looks dum (n).

Also, some of them come with a velcro "dot" for extra security, I took the dots off.  Holds plenty strong without em.
 
Lund and AVS make them for both. I just bought some Lund's from Larry
( Supermobile ). He's a site partner and a great guy to deal with.

stopped twice in ATL for having them on my Av.  Both times just given a warning and sent on my way.

Cool they let you go, I had some on my car a long time ago, 1991 and they made me pull them on the spot.  :E:

yup, both times I just acted like it wasn't a big deal for me to keep them on and asked if they wanted mt to get out and remove them.  I think I get hastled by the rent-a-cops at the gate more than anywhere.
