Snowbear plow on 1500

I've done the searches and heard the stories but my question is who has a frame problem after using a snow plow on their 1500 AV? Where did it crack?

I just picked up an '02 Z71 and I've mounted my Snow Bear using the brackets off of my previous truck ('88 GMC Sierra 1500).

With his chrome 20's year round as well.

Plowing in Style!

That's reassuring. I keep our half mile private road cleared and a couple 300-500 foot driveways. I don't go over 10mph and I don't stack snow with it.

Hey trannyman, I was wondering if you have any pics of the mount without the plow on it.  I am curious how it looks, and mounts, and if it is something I will look into.  I would love a plow set-up for my driveway, but don't want to spend a ton or ruin the look of the AV.

Thanks in advance!

This plow is going on a fourth truck. Had my '02 for seven years. Never had any frame issues. Wife had an H3T for a while and this past spring I picked up a '13 Avy. Required some butchery of the Z71 fake skid plate. Today I ordered RC 3.5" lift as the plow is too low to get it on and off the truck.
