Our first wave will rollout of here at 6:00 am, picking a couple up on the way,
second wave rolls at 10 am, third wave at abot 4:30pm. Everyone drive safe, we will see you later today!!

Either way, it will be a lot cooler then phoenix.  :D  That will be refreshing in itself.

I wish I could be there but I got this tomorrow at 9:00, 12:00 and 2:00...

The U8 team plays at 9:00, then a pizza party at 12:00, followed by the U6 team (which I coach) at 2:00.

This was an extremely fun day.... You guys even convinced my mom to get an account on the SoCal site, I think. She is definitely a go for the supercharger as soon as we get some extra money and I get my brakes done. Paul, that was a great thing to give away the window you couldn't use..... But MAN $500!!!!!!! :beating:.....

A special thanks to SoCal Cindy and Ken, and Sparqui and Carolyn for all the hard work they went thru to make this such a great day! It is so good to see the friends you only get to see once a year, and make some new ones evey year too! The Avalanche community has the best people in the world in it!

1st - Thanks for all the pics!  Sorry I couldn't make this one.

But a question: On the FOTKI pics - where are all the people?  Seriously!  What did you do - make them all stand behind you when you took the pic?

It got to a point that I started looking.  It is pic 183 of 238 before you see the first person with the AVs.  And it's pic 211 before we see a group of people in the picnic area.  Post up some of the people!  Like you did above.  I like meeting Sperry, 04AvFan, WildFire, etc, even if it's only in pics.

Those were my thoughts also, I was thinking someone had to drive all those AV's, where are they?
 
Believe me there were plenty of people around... at the time Stephy took her pics...the parking lot was literally abandoned because everyone was up at the shelter having lunch, winning awards, etc. (y)
