South Carolina Monthly GTG/Meetings

Just a quick post to all the South Carolina Guys and Galls. If you would like to start having monthly meetings to plan, brainstorm, meet, greet, and just have some AV fun.....let me know. If this would be a good idea, then we need to go ahead and start putting it on the calendars. I know some of you have floating work schedules (Les) so if you make it to the first meeting, then we can pick the next months date then.....so on and so on.

Let me know something.

Kevin, You know I will be there >:D, I just have one request.....we have all meetings at Hooters and when we are in WikiVille we have the same waitress we had last time :eek: >:D

We can end up at Hooters, but we have a HUGE conference room at Love Chevrolet that would be good to use for taking care of business, letting Love Chevrolet know we are still active, and supporting their dealership. After the brief meeting, we can take a short cruise to Hooters, and take a look-see for our waitress (s)!

Now all we need is the rest of the clan to join in the conversation, and pick a date. At our first meeting we can pick a fixed "every month" date.

My schedule changes every month, as does Pat's. I believe last time we had it on a weekday, Wed I believe. I wonder how this will affect the members with "Regular" work schedules. There are months that I have every weekend off and others that I work every one. My Meeting attendance might have to be a little speratic if we have a fixed date for every month :cautious:. But if this happens, I will just catch the minuits ;D and the leftover wings >:D

Les...That's an easy schedule to work around. Do this. (y)

Never schedule a monthly South Carolina meeting on the Second Saturday.
If you or Pat are off that day you can cruise down to Savannah for "First Round". Sounds simple to me. What you think Les?

Hey guys and gals, check your e-mail. :cool: I am looking at a meeting at Love Chevrolet either on September 27th or October 4th. Please let me know which date would work better for you. I know we have members on a "rotating work schedule". :p

This meeting will be very brief at Love Chevrolet to disscuss monthly meetings of the group. We will spend a few minutes visiting with the dealership, and then we will cruise to Les' favorite spot >:D >:D.....Hooters of Columbia >:D >:D. After lunch and a few.....uhhh.....well :eek:, we will possible go ride down to Harbison National Forest for a ride through nature (weather and conditon of members permitting ;) )

Thanks for the input and I am looking forward to meeting all of you newbies ;D!!!!

So far the 27th is winning. Les, you out there.....I know your work schedule is rotational.....anybody else.....Beuler.....Beuler....
 
So far, Tinman and CorvetteJoe have responded for the 27th of September. That makes 3 of us, and it is set.......


First monthly meeting for South Carolina will be September 27th at 10:00AM at Love Chevrolet on Harbison Blvd.

From there we will cruise to Hooters for lunch and meet other AV'rs that will be running late. If time is allowed, we will ride the trails at Harbison National Forest. These are just dirt roads, but I hear it is a nice ride. I will check it out.

Keep me posted if you can make it. I will give the dealership heads up that we are comming.

How about a little GTG in Savannah two weeks later on Tybee Island?
Your about 75 miles away. Some members are traveling half way across America to meet southeastern CAFC members.

BTW....these guys are CAFC dedicated friends you have the rare opportunity to meet.
 
unfortunately I work on the weekend two weeks later also, but I am going to try and come down form a few hours before work. Is it friday, saturday and sunday?

hey i actually have a few mins off for once...oh well i'm off again to go somewhere and do something...when you work greater than 65-70 hrs a week...it doesn't give you much time for anything...I'll try and get that day off and see if i can't head up there...i'll bring the camera if i come...and i'll try to be in more communication later...if my boss allows me to...
