South FL Av owner needed for JL Audio testing

Hi all, I have a thread going in the Audio forum about a problem I have been having with a 03 JL Audio Steathbox. To make a long story short JL can't find an AV it test the fittings on in Southern FL. So the head of Steathbox Development Don Vertrees send me this.

"If there's a member in the South Florida area who would be willing to help us explore the fit issues by allowing us to use his truck, I'm sure we could make it worth his while, not to mention the benefit to your own cause. "

I do not know exactly what they would give you but you can take it up with Don. If you are intrested let me know please.
 
They don't happen to have a branch in SC do they :cautious:?

The poop part is I am moving to FL, but not for a few months :(. I am tring to talk them into using my truck to test the upcoming SteathBox Plus midgate replacement houseing a pair of 12W3v2 500 watt subs.
 
Safe to assume "South Florida" means Miami area? Term gets used and abused to represent Miami area, or a line across the state at Orlando referencing anything below there, etc.

I'm in Fort Myers, but have no problem driving a little for a nice "deal". My only question is - does it have to be an 03/04, or do you need an 02 to see what the difference is (insert lots of hope here ;) )

will be down there oct 17 to nov 5 in the tampa bay area if this would help him... I have no problem being a guinea pig and driving to the miami area. If I can be of any help let me know please.

Does this mean that you will be replacing your midgate with a different midgate w/subs?
Whatcha gonna do with your factory midgate? I might be interested in it for the "midgate-pass thru" concept mod.

Sorry Dave... voluntiers must have a 2003+ AV with bucket seats, no 40/20/40 splits.

South FL means anywhere in the world so long as you can drive your truck there and hang out while they play with it... I do not know how long they will need the truck, but will try to find out.

I do not know what I will be doing with my factory midgate, but will likely keep it incase I sell the AV in the future to someone who wants 100% migdate functionality.

Seriously I would love to be the guinea pig on this one!! 03 w/ buckets and factory Bose head unit with no stereo mods whatsoever.
 
I live in the Orlando area, but I'll throw my name in the ring, any idea the details? (Time frame, etc.) I have no Bose and no stereo mods.

Hey Mr. Clark, maybe I'm your guy. I'm in South Miami, 03 Z66 with buckets, and I'm gradually modding it into a cool rod. Depending on what they want to do, maybe we could get together. Keep me in mind. :cool:

Vic, this thread is from Spetember of LAST year. Doubtful you'll find this offer to still be around.

Folks - look at the dates of threads before blindly posting, please.
