We got back home yesterday around 8:00pm.
We had a Great time and had lots of fun.? It was cool to see all the different Av's.? ?

See ya'll at the next one.

Just got back at 2110, and 2480miles. Man am I tired.

I want to thank John again for a great time, it definitely was the best GTG that I've been to since I bought my AV. I was finally able to put faces to all those that I've only talked to on the board. I'm really looking forward to the next one, maybe I'll make the trip down for STI, hopefully I'll have someone to go with me.

Also want to thank Diamond Pete for keeping me company till the I-40E/I-81N cut off.

Had a great time.? It was great to see my old friends and the new ones I've talked to on line but never met.?

I had promised myself "no mods" at this GTG and other than a bowtie that was needed for the SC show, I didn't complete one mod on my Av.? I did have to do a repair.? about 10 minutes after we got lined up at the show, I lost all power to my amps and all of my strobes? :E:? A quick replacement of a fuse fixed that....after the show.?

I'm not even going to start naming names because I know I'll miss someone.? I wish I would have had a few more days off from work so I could have talked to more people.? Once again, I've gone to a GTG and have yet to meet someone that I wouldn't help without even having to think about it.? Hope to see everyone again soon.

I would like to thank everyone who voted for my Av for 'peoples choice.'? With all of the nice Avalanches there, it was hard for me to pick a favorite, and for ya'll to pick mine over some those is something that makes me proud.?

As far the lowest Avalanche.....I guess my airdam just paid for itself.? Greg and I were parked nose to nose the night before measuring to see who was lower in the front.? It was close.....lets just say that I like how trAV measured them more than the way we did. >:D

Thanks everyone for a great time.

VERY well put  :D

Super Chevy just put up their pictures from the Huntsville show.  It was a little disappointing that there was only one picture of an AV there, but it was a good one with a very nice caption.

Check it out HERE.

The Middle Tennessee Avalanche Club showed up and ran their big Chevy beast on the Huntsville track.  The Club won the car show Club Participation award.

What an awesome trip!!!!  My first GTG and it'll probably go down in history as my favorite...  TrAV, great job on everything... you are a brave man to take on the responsibility of the GTG

Sorry I didn't get a proper goodbye in with most of you... I got up around 5 AM on sunday morning and hit the road.

Pics and Vids to come from the trip (possibly including the training hoe)!

I think you still had the hoe at 3AM Friday night when we were last 3 awake.

I wanted to thank everyone for a great gtg.  Soo much fun, soo little time.

Thanks Diamond Pete for the diamond platting on the back bumper.  It looks really good.

I also want to thank Sonja, Squatch, Trouble, Mrs.Mox, and anyone else who helped with my daughter on Saturday.  It's nice to know there are people who are there to help out even the smallest AV members in a hectic situation.  She is fine.  By time we got home she had pretty much forgotten about it, and the bites were about gone.

Thanks again,

julieb
