Standard Alarm Enough?

I own a Z-66 and it came with the Standard Alarm. I was wondering if the Standard Alarm is enough? Does the alarm go off if someone breaks the windows or windshield? Will it go off it some one hit it really hard? Also if I do upgrade, how is the Mid-Level and High-End Alarms different? Thanks for your advice! Don't want a jealous, greedy person stealing my AVALANCHE!

NO, They Suck......

My AV-Z71 Was Broken Into On Christmas Morning 2001 While In Topeka, KS They Popped Out The Drivers Side Rear Side Window And Crawled In And Stole My Garmin Streetpilot III, Radar Detector, And My Cell Phone Accessories Along With Some Other Misc. Stuff.

The Bad Part Is It Cost $493.00 For A New Window And Track And The Contents Is Covered By Your Home Owners Insurance In Which Most Of Us Have A 1% Deductable. So Needless To Say..... The Insurance Company Didn't Pay Out A Single Dime.....

My GPS Was Mounted In My Ash Tray And Was Turned Off..... I Guess It Was Just A Bonus....

We All Need To Watch Where We Park And What We Leave In Our AV's......
