this is my 1st post.

Does any one offer an aftermarket steel rear bumper?

thanks

Joe

Nope not yet. I have been asking the same question the last year and there is not a company that makes one. There is someone that makes the front and is working on coming up with a rear one as well.

Joe, if you want a really good quality bumper, than you should wait until January, when Stealth Offroad is going to debut its rear bumper. A couple of reasons why are that it will retain the steps that are in the stock bumper as well as the area to step on, on top of the bumper; it will also have a recessed place for a winch, and will have 4 recessed lights, much like their front bumpers (y). This rear bumper blows Road Armors bumper away by far, because from what I have heard and seen they don't offer the steps or any area at all to step on; no lights from the photos that were posted, and it my be able to support a winch. Also another thing about road armor that not too many know is that they cannot actually color match the cladding color, whereas stealth offroad can, so if you want the color of the stock rear, you better give stealth offroad a call.

Good Hunting. ;D

Thanks guys.
I'll wait a few months and check out the stealth.

is it gonna have the $1000 price tag the front bumper has?

Does any one have renderings or wire frames? Just curious.

The road armor bumper appears to replace the cladding on the rear quarters,
is the stealth a wrap around design.

thanks for all info in advance.

one word.. sweet.. the two things stopping me from getting the roadarmor bumper is the absense of the steps, both in the sides and on top and those side pods.. my rear is wide enough.. on the av i mean >:D i don't need anything adding to it..
