JohnB helped me make it all better. Thanx John.

Anyone else notice it's always me under the truck??? I'm still clearing sand out of my eyes. No matter what kind of glasses I wear. I still get crap in my eyes!
Also Joe and I have discovered the perfect cure for repairing accidental damage to the plastic ground effects on the GM bumper. We used 5 minute epoxy to hold the joint together. Then used Fiberglass mat and 30 minute epoxy on the back. The 5 minute epoxy is great because it sets up quickly and if you hae to hold a joint together. Holding it for 5 minutes is not too bad. The down side is 5 minute epoxy isn't as strong as 30 minute epoxy. So we use both. the 5 minute holds the joint together. The 30 minute bonds it fo life. We use the fiber glass mat to give the repair a little structural integrity. Soak the fiberglass mat with the 30 minute epoxy let it cure, and you have a pepair that is nearly seamless. The only thing is you need a little acetone. The acetone will clean the joints and if you accidentally spread some to the other plastic body parts the acetone will remove the glue. I will post a thread with Joe later with pictures.

Nice siggie Joe.

The best thing that I have every used when doing things like this and weedwacking is my painball helment. Nothing gets in, plus it has a small fan unit on it so it does not fog! You might want to look into one of these, plus not only does it protect your eyes, but your whole face!
