Try over a gig!!

I probably won't get all my pictures up until November - but it will be worth it... ;)

Has anybody downloaded the video that I gave to david to post on the STI site?
I think that it's pertty cool, and keep watching over and over...but again, it's me doing the donuts.
I'll have video of all the donuts/hummer activities on the DVD soon.

Seeing your video has to be a "distant second on the fun scale".
Really "enjoying your video" >:D as you do can only happen behind the wheel.

We gotta do more donuts in Region II. :B:  :B:

MIKE

hehe, I watched it as well and can't wait to see more...including mine ;)

I think we could probably find some spots to do more donuts in future GTGs (y)

I watched it a couple of times Rob. Awsome (y)Well, for a non-Big Block donut anyhow >:D You didn't have the passenger window up so everyone could not here your wife screaming, did ya??

Actually, that was Carriles (Les), and his son Andrew, in the front seat with me.
What a blast that was!

Rob

Okay everyone here is the story that ran in the Savannah Morning
News concerning STI.

Story and Pictures by Kathy Bohannon

The Chevrolet Avalanche Fan Club of North America met
on Tybee Island on the weekend of October 9- 12. Coordinator Mike Willis
said the group communicates mainly through the club's website.
Willis, who's online name is TinMan, had planned a weekend of
events including a cruise to Fort Polaski National Monument, a charity
lunch event, a dolphin cruise, and a drive through a local Hummer track.

With online names like Boo The Redneck, Aetatis, Mudbug Z71 and
Tree Hugger, members of the group represented clubs from all over
the nation. Fifty members arrived for the event, which included
parade-like treks all over Savannah, with a long convoy of vehicles.
Coastal Chevrolet sponsored the meet, and Willis stated that events
are scheduled monthly by various chapters.

This meeting was not only an opportunity to meet and greet other
Avalanche enthusiasts, but to also contribute to local shelters.
A charity luncheon was held at the East Broad Elementary School,
and Wesley Crenshaw of Inner City Shelter was on hand to speak
with club members and thank them for their contributions of clothing,
toys and funds for the homeless.

Willis would like to see the event used as a model so members
can go back to their chapters and use the information to
begin working with charities in their community.

The event was well attended though weather and a few vehicle
problems kept a few members from attending. Aetatis, of
Newnan, Georgia, owns a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. He arrived
on Thursday night for the event. "I've never done this before,
he said of attending the truck club. I'm a new owner, and signed
up when I read about it. We cruised around and hung out, and it
was great."

For more information about upcoming cruises and meets, log on to
the club's website at www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com
