I haven't been asked in a while, but it used to be citrus fruit and meat. But I thought anything they ask about wouldn't be something you put in something like this.

There is still time to get yourself on the list for the drawing of the I-pod nano, don't miss out on this!

Remember only the people on the pantry registered list are eligible for this drawing!

Our Stock the Pantry box is filling up, who has started on a second box?

I think we have three boxes and I'll need some help moving them, lol.

Come on TP doesn't weigh that much does it LOL.......We have 3 boxes also but I can handle them unless you want them up a flight of stairs.

Count me in.  Bought four boxes of stuff at Sam's tonight.  Green beans and various packaged fruit.

Congradulations go to Jim-Goldbowtie the winner of the I-pad nano!    WTG Goldbowtie!

Let me add, through the eight member that signed up for the "Stock the pantry Challenge"  we brought in 346 pounds of non-perishable food products which came to 354 items, this does not include the donations from my employer.  Just guessing that was probably 800 pounds,    WTG guys awesome job and thank you so very much for taking on this challenge.

Thank you to everyone who helped with this effort!  Last month The Salvation Army served over 2,200 meals at our meal site.  We also help between 50 and 100 families every week through our food pantry.  We usually struggle to find food late in the summer months.  Because of your efforts, we are currently blessed with an abundant amount.

Thank you again to everyone who is helping with this effort.  I look forward to meeting many of you on Saturday!
