Festival runs April 2,3 & 4.
We are meeting in S.A. April 3rd
Time: 6:30am :B:
Location:
410 and Rigsby (Bill Miller BBQ Parking)
Depart to Poteet: 7:00am :B:
Cruise with the Corvette club and arrive at the previous hang out. "ARTS"
My(Tribal AV) dad's shop. Everyone that was there before knows how much fun that was. Jello shots beer...more beer and good entertainment.

We are going to try and have a large BBQ pit onsite.

We all had a great time in Poteet last year!
 
God willin' and the creek don't rise!
My only problem is deciding what to drive since it's a joint cruise with the 'Vette club.
Do I drive the AV or the 'vette,.....
the AV or the 'vette....... the AV or the 'vette.... >:D
Decisions, Decisions. ;)

Dave- Yes on the parade
Richard- Great! It's more enjoyable when your not worried about driving after drinking.
Vetteman- Sharon can drive the vette (Yeah right! is what your thinking)

It's a 6 speed and she don't drive a stick shift.

Well I will just have to teach Sharon how to drive a stick shift >:D I drove a stick shift for 11 years before the AV so bring the Vette to Poteet! (y)

TribalAV - should a list of participants be started on your first post? count me in and I will also be bringing my pasta salad and spinach dip and my bbq meats! This will be a fun time as well!

I am undecided as to what I should do-- should I meet the the AV-vette convoy in Poteet at your dad's shop since I am only 15 minutes from Poteet, or should I meet up with the AV's and vettes in SA ??? I do want to cruise with the Vettes and AV's, hmmmm decisions....decisions :2:

Well, I offered to teach her once but I think she's just plain scared of the power that the 'vette has. It can get away from you in a heartbeat if you aren't careful. And I know she wouldn't want to wreck it.
I almost forgot, you're one of the few in the group that has seen it.
Dave02Z66 is the only other one I can think of that's seen it too.
I know you wouldn't want her to wreck it.

Vetman-- your vette is a beauty. Very awesome looking car and I am sure the power it has is AWESOME as well! Sitting in your vette that day in your garage was great, i can imagine going down the road like a bat out of hell must be an amazing feeling of power! I feel special, one of the few that has seen your amazing vette and I even got to sit in it! >:D

And NO I wouldn't want your vette wrecked! No Way!


TRIBALAV -- I think I will join the AV -- Vette cruise down to Poteet, you know I love to cruise and I don't want to miss all the fun during the cruise. :D
 
Those on the list let me know if your going to overnight the stay. I would recommend it so you don't have to worry about leaving early. Or just have to stop having fun cause your getting tired. Many people last year had a good time, but had to leave early cause they were feeling the tired from all day. That is why there are more staying so they can enjoy the time over here. The hot sun will ware down on you even though we have plenty of shade.

Also are you guys going to want my aunt Rosa to make her breakfast tacos again? Maybe if I get enough who would like them I can get her to do it again. And in order to get free shortcakes I will need some small donations from whomever is willing to help. We will have a free of charge DJ service onsite also. :cool:
 
We will be much more prepared this year. So far with the people we have showing up we'll have a cool spectical on HWY 16 with the AVs and Vettes side by side. I'm sure we'll end up taking more parking than we did last year. We might even creat a new attraction to for the Poteet Strawberry Festival. We'll call it the Second annual "PSF ARTS GTG" or something like that.
