Stuck in Cheyenne without a Transmission...

Hi Todd
hope it works out and that the warranty covers it. To bad we did not reach you earlier . hope everything goes well. Did you get the hotel next to the dealer with the event going on in town?

Frank

WOW !
Glad to hear things are starting to turn around for you hope it gets fixed very soon keeps us posted and let us know if there is any thing we can do.
Robby

From the pics it looks like the T-case adapter snapped.  The 100 lb T-case and the shafts just hang off the back of the trans with no other support.

Hey Todd, Hope the repair is going well and that your feeling alright, it just sucks after all the work you did to put on such a great meet.

If it had to happen for him, I'm glad it was on the way home and not on the way to SD.  That could have really soured the event.

I just spoke to Todd. He and the family are in good spirits and are making the most of the extra adventure. It's tough to keep a good man down!

Todd

When our tranny was being rebuilt I sneaked a look at their board and have the customer 800 # ,  its  Chevrolet Customer Assistance and the number is 800-222-1020.  We had to wait for a rep to approve our repairs before they could order the parts  but we're running now so call if ya need us.

Pat and Julie

:woohoo:
Just got word yesterday afternoon that Generous Motors is going to cover 100% of the repairs to my transmission. (y)

I just got off the phone with Todd.  One thing for sure, he is truly amazing! His spirit remains high and he really has made the best of a truly crappy situation. He was in the process of checking out of a hotel and heading over to the dealership to check the status of his AV. He is hoping repairs would be made and they could make their journey home.
I wish there was something more I could have done for Todd and his family, he has given so much to the Nationals and the charity, I just wish I could have done something for him and his family when it was needed.
Todd, you have our numbers and cell. If there is anything, ANYTHING that you and your family need along the way, please call us day or night, we are ready to help any way we can.
Our fingers are crossed and wishes to you and your family that everything goes smooth the rest of your journey.

We made it past the point of breakdown - yahoo! We are now an hour north of Denver (70 degrees!) and officially ON OUR WAY HOME.  For the second time, lol

Glad your on the Road again  (y)

If you want to test that new tranny, take a right and go into Rocky Mountain National Park. Take the Ridge Trail Road, it is 12,400 feet up to the summit. When you get up there there is a sign the says BEWARE: loose gravel! The road is tore out and they are re-doing it. It is complete with big holes, ruts and that loose gravel.......... it was quite a trip for my "Pavement Princess", I doubt it would be much of a challenge for yours though.

Glad the wait is over and that you are back on the road, I emailed those numbers to you.......
