Suggestions on installing power inverter on my 02 Avalanche

I have purchased a Peak 1200 watt work zone power inverter  http://www.peakauto.com/products/electronics/mobile-power-outlets/1200-watt-work-zone-mobile-power-outlet-kit/  and am open to suggestions on ways to install it .
It comes with a 10 foot remote dual receptacle outlet that also has a usb port and a remote on/off switch.
Right now I am planning to run the remote outlet from the drivers side saddle bag by drilling a hole in the bottom of the saddle bag and routing the wire along the frame up to the rear passenger seat floor board and drilling a hole to run the wire into the cabin to connect to the power inverter.
I am planning on purchasing positive and negative cables in 2/0 size as per manufacture suggestions and since these cables are so large don't think they will run along inside the "rail" covered by the trim pieces at the bottom of the door so I was planning on drilling more 2 more holes under the passenger seat and routing the cables along the frame up to the single battery as well I am adding a 200 amp circuit breaker.
All wires ran along the frame will be wire loomed and all holes will get a grommet and I will add silicone as an added measure to keep water out .
If you can think of any other ways to route the wires without so much drilling that would be awesome.
 
I would strongly suggest you put the inverter under the back seat, then run your wires from there. You don't want the inverter pulling any moisture at all or they won't last long!  Then you could do what I did on my 03, run piece of extension cord to a GFI outlet installed in the bed!

Glad you thought the worst thing I was doing was putting the inverter itself in a moist environment but I probably did a poor job of describing where I was going to put the inverter which is under the back seat.... so if you thought that was the worst thing I was doing I feel better!
I just wish there was a better way to run the cables than drilling holes in the floorboard.
The good thing about the Peak power station kit is it comes with a 10 foot extension cord with an outlet box that has two 110 outlets ,a usb outlet as well as a remote on/off switch . The cord just plugs into one of the 110 outlets on the inverter  and I was running it to the drivers side saddle bag to keep it dry and just pull it out when needed.

I am doing the same install - a 1500w inverter installed under the rear passenger seat.  Because those 2/0 cables are so large, I am going to run both wires from the trucks single battery on the passenger side down the engine compartment and along the frame to the area around the rear seat.  From there, I'll drill up into the body, close to the installed inverter.

Like you, I will enclose the wires in a plastic loom and zip-tie them well.  The 200amp breaker seems like an excellent idea too.  I will do that as well.

Have you finished this install yet?  How did it go?  Any problems?  Anything you can pass on?  And if you happen to have taken any photos of this install, I would be very interested in seeing them!

I have never had the option of 120 volts in a car or truck before, but I really like the idea.  I picked up a small 120 volt compressor for emergency work, and it's specs are much better than the small ones that plug into the 12 volt outlet.  And that's just one use...  I'm sure there will be many more.

Sorry I should of updated my post.
  My install is complete and we have successfully made Margaritas using our Margaritaville mixed drink maker while tailgating before a concert.
Probably the only problem I ran into was the direction I wanted the inverter to face because it  would of taken up more cable in order to put the front of the inverter visible when you opened the door as opposed to having it facing the front of the seat and since the cable is so large would of made it hard to connect the lugs to the inverter.
I purchased a step drill off eBay to drill my holes not only through the metal but also the carpet under the rear seat on the passenger seat on the driver side, There is actually a factory cover and there was just enough room that you can't even see the cables unless you lift the seat.
Make sure to use a rubber grommet to protect your cable from the sheet metal.
  After drilling the holes and running it through the floor I just ran the cable near  the top of the frame running the cables into the engine compartment .
  Since my inverter came with a 10 foot power cord I also drilled a hole for it and ran it along the frame as well to the driver side saddle bag. I did have to cut off the factory male plug in as it would of been a very large hole to drill and was just easier to wire a new one on.
I have a dual terminal battery so I purchased marine terminals to connect my inverter cables to the battery.
The circuit breaker I purchased on eBay has a manual reset switch and I use it to totally disconnect the power to the inverter when not in  use but I did have to grind a little off the cable lugs to get them to fit.
I mainly posted to try and find someone that had done an install and might of found a way to run the cable into the cab without drilling a hole but what is done is done and seems to work just fine.
I will have to say with 2/0 cable already installed if I ever need to go with a larger inverter it should be a pretty easy swap.
